Besedica is made by Richard Petron.
The teacher
A qualified teacher of Slovene as a second language will review the course.
How we build the course
- Research first. The course follows the official exam’s published format and what research shows about learning a language: spaced review, producing answers rather than picking them, and practising the exam’s own tasks.
- Checked word by word. Every Slovene word form in the course is checked against Sloleks, the dictionary of Slovene word forms.
- Reviewed by a teacher. A qualified teacher of Slovene as a second language will review the whole course.
- Feedback written in advance. Every hint and correction you see was written and checked beforehand.
- Audio built in. All the course audio comes with the app, so every lesson works offline. A native speaker will check how the words are stressed.
- Speech recognition on your phone. When you answer aloud, your phone recognises what you said. Your recording is not sent anywhere, and it is deleted after your answer unless you choose to keep it.
